We built a web portal and admin system that lets a GPS tracking provider give every one of its business customers one place to see where their vehicles are, how far they've travelled and how they're being used.

What Needed to Change
The client installs GPS trackers in vehicles and provides tracking as a service to many different companies. Each customer needed a clear view of its own fleet, while the client needed to manage every customer, vehicle and device from one place.
Many customers, one system
Every customer company had to see only its own vehicles and data, from the same portal.
Raw data, little insight
GPS devices send a constant stream of location data that needed to become useful answers: where is each vehicle, and how much is it used?
Reports took time
Customers regularly asked for distance and trip reports that had to be prepared manually.
Slow onboarding
Adding a new customer company, its vehicles and devices had to become quick and simple for the client's team.

A multi-tenant tracking platform with a customer portal for each company and an admin portal for the provider, turning GPS data into live maps, history and reports.
Live Fleet Map
Every vehicle on a live map with its current location, status and last update, so fleet managers know where everything is at a glance.
Trip History & Route Playback
View the routes a vehicle has taken for any date range and replay journeys stop by stop.
Distance & Usage Reports
Distance travelled, trips and running time per vehicle, ready to view or export for any period.
Alerts & Notifications
Alerts for events such as speeding or a vehicle entering or leaving a defined area, so issues are spotted early.
Multi-Company Admin Portal
The provider adds customer companies, vehicles and GPS devices, assigns them to each other and manages users from one place.
Role-Based Access
Company admins and fleet managers each get the right level of access, and customer data is always kept separate.
